Evaluation of Lesion Consequences of Complex Network Systems

Abstract

Structural and flow approaches to analysis of complex network systems (NS) vulnerability from targeted attacks and non-target lesions of various types are considered. It is shown that on the basis of NS flow models, it is possible to reproduce a much more realistic picture of directly damaged and indirectly affected system elements compared to the structural one.
