Abstract

The process of reforming IT education in Ukraine is analyzed. The model of school IT education and requirements for studying informatics according to the K-12 standard are considered. Requirements for the level of knowledge of IT specialists are studied. Steps to improve the quality of IT education in Ukraine are proposed.
