Hysteresis strategy for retrial queue with limited number of retrials

Abstract

In this paper, an optimal control problem of rate of the input flow for a retrial queue with a limited number of retrials is considered. A hysteresis strategy is used for this system. An effective algorithm for stationary probabilities and an explicit form of the quality functional in the stationary regime are found.
