Principles of Constructing a Neural Network for the Selection and Primary Processing of Information with Elements of the Human Visual Analyzer

Abstract

To improve the efficiency, productivity and efficiency of the real-time video systems being created, it is proposed to use as a prototype the principles of the organization of the neural network at the level of the human eye, in particular: the principles of short-range interaction with the ring organization "on"- and "off"-centers, specialization of layers of neurons, feedback between cells for controlling perception, adapting the size of receptor fields (the so-called plasticity of neurons).
