Abstract

We consider SP-networks with modular key addition in this work. We present analytic upper bounds for the probabilities of differential characteristics of such SP-networks with respect to bit-wise (XOR), block-wise and modular additions. Obtained bounds are expressed through specific parameters of cipher’s S-boxes.
