Abstract

Two problems of the dynamics of the mechanical system "reservoir - liquid with free surface" are considered. The first statement describes the generalization of the Faraday problem with the possibility of horizontal displacement of the reservoir due to the fluctuations of the free surface of the liquid. The second statement describes the algorithm for building control of the system to provide the movement of the reservoir according to the prescribed law.
