Abstract

This paper proposes a new controlling method for active current filtering of three-phase, four-wire power supply system based on the measuring of active and reactive powers of individual phases. Derived formulas for converting phase powers into unbalance powers, which are used to generate compensation signals. The results of computer modeling fully confirmed the effectiveness of the active filter with control in the proposed way.
